I like reading her reviews of books that I have already read and comparing her thoughts

I’m a fan! One Who Reads is Always Booked is a very useful book. Donna DeLeo Bruno is a gifted wordsmith herself as she reviews other authors’ books. Bruno clearly has enjoyed in her life an abundance of books of all kinds for many years.
With an essential store of knowledge as well as an extensive word bank to rely on, Bruno helps the reader to decide which books to pick up next and next and next.
I liked the personal bits she added, especially in the Introduction about the GE repairman who showed up at her door immediately recognizing her as his beloved teacher from years before.

"One Who Reads Is Always Booked" by Donna DeLeo Bruno is an excellent source of literary works designed for the reader interested in discovering new avenues to explore. It consists of priceless reviews of eighty-one books to challenge and delight readers from all walks of life. Her reviews are divided into three sections fiction, historical fiction and non-fiction. As a bonus, there are seven additional books captioned 'Great Books Not to be Missed' including "The Glass Castle", one of my personal favorites. Lastly, as an epilogue, Mrs. Bruno has graciously given the reader thirty-one 'other outstanding reads' to stimulate the literary appetite. On a personal note, 'The Goldfinch" by Donna Tartt is captivating and spellbinding from Chapter One. As a former educator, I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
